THE WARM UP IN FOOTBALL
I chose this video because it connects directly with what we’re learning in class: how to design and do a correct warm-up, first general and then more specific for the sport. It shows a complete warm-up without material , so any student can repeat it at home or in PE. The space they use is very similar to what we have in school (15-20 m), so it’s realistic. It follows the right order : activation → mobility → specific movements → progressive runs. The exercises are typical of football (skipping, opening/closing the gate, lunges with twist, progressive sprints), so it links the theory to a real sport. The coaches explain the purpose of each exercise (groin, hamstrings, hip flexor, glutes…), which helps you understand the “why”, not only the “what”. It’s a safe warm-up : they start slow and increase intensity at the end, just like we said in class. It helps you learn new dynamic stretches instead of only static stretching. It’s in English, so it also works for...
I chose this video because it clearly shows useful dribbling and ball-control techniques that any player can apply in real matches. The exercises are simple to understand but really effective for improving coordination, quick feet, and confidence with the ball. I think it’s a good video to pick because it doesn’t just show fancy skills — it explains how to practice them step by step, so anyone can improve. It’s practical, easy to follow, and perfect for getting better at dribbling and technique.
